i think oversleeping's an epidemic here at gally.. jen's overslept like 5 times since shes been here, and as a matter of fact she almost overslept but i just by chance woke her up 30 minutes before her class and promptly went back to sleep... and guess what? I overslept

dood. i had a lot of things to say but suddenly they all disappeared. hmm. class's all good. sure, theres a lot of writing assignments due, but oh well, i guess. volleyball's going by well, and i've got a paper on the culture of death due tomorrow. queer eye for the straight guy's on tonight but i'll miss it, i think. if i was 18 i would go to a gay club tonight with ben but i'm 17.

for fys today we had a colloquium to discuss multiple intelligences. My results were pretty typical, with a 9 in interpersonal relationships. Afterwards, I had a great discussion with prof millios regarding our government and multiple intelligences... a revelation: Myers is a democrat.

I've got an multimedia presentation for FYS due next thursday and I've got no idea what to do. I dont want to do powerpoint, because that shows a lack of creativity... any ideas, anyone?

ok ... well.. um... seriously.. theres like less than 2 weeks till "launch".. and just... i dont know but i just wnated to post an entry for some reason even though i dont need to say anything.. ha... ok i think that signifies all the sorts of feelings im having right now. at least i know i'll be seeing some of my favorite people in the world so soon and be living with them for whoever knows... just... ay haha

livejournal is probably my hmm third best "release" if i had the materials with me i would be working on a padded, beaded scrapbook or cutting national geographic magazines up for the pictures... HOWEVERRRR I don't have any of that, but i just remembered one of my graduation gifts... i got a scrapbook for my college years along with some beginner's tools... i think i'm going to start that now

ok tmw marisa's coming over then eri jess and elz r comin over.. swim n just basically bs... then i'll have to start sleeping early *yick* then sunday wake up get everything ready meet bippy n lynn ray at isd at 11ishity then bsssss say hi to the campers *clichedly laughs evilly* then work all week then on friday when the camp's over... load my bags in my car, zoom home, unpack, wash clothes, tell mom what to bring for me, pack some other clothes, load my car, make sure gas's full, and drive to luevelle

welll, hello dolly!! lifes been good, with a lot of the same ol same ol... was just in ohio last weekend for a fan-fucking-tastic 4th of july weekend... i know nellie's the only one on lj who'll be able to appreciate this, but i'll let you all hae a small glimpse in my life

wednesday: left home at noon arrived jim's place at about 3:30 ohio time... if only there wasnt a time zone difference i would have made the trip in 2 hrs and 30 mins... although.. the time zone difference did make my trip mucho better on the return trip yesterday (only a hour n 30 mins)... got to jims place got out of the car hugged nellie n jim met eyob... played some volleyball when lo and behold john arrived... he sat n watched until our game was over... dustin n devon arrived.. a tad bit unwanted, though... fell asleep at like 4:30 in one wonderful wonderful bed

thursday: woke up at 8 to go with jim n nellie to pick up jeff at the airport... came back ate breakfast i think then went to easton mall.. nice nice nice indoor slash outdoor shoppin plaza thingy... then went to red robin's for lunch... had a fantastic chicken caesar salad.. went back to jims place and played some volleyball... showered and went off to jim's mom's deaf culture class at the local college.. expressed our opinions on cochlear implants, and so on... then drove a few mins to downtown columbus where the "red, white, and boom" festival thingy was... (john... its not red, white, and bomb nor is it red, blue, and boom") ... devon got lost from our group and actually walked the what, 5 miles or something to jims place.. just very oy... fell asleep at 4 am again

key notes of the day:
me jeff and nellie are one big monster with 3 heads,
6 eyes, 3 noses, 30 fingers, 40 toes, and 2 1/2 brains

friday: woke up at 10, ate brekky, and got ready to go to the lake house... got there.. it was a blastttt swam, swung on a rope, swam some more, and best of all, we played "king (or queen) of the raft"... got mucho lotso bruises.. nini n lindsey arrived n we showed them the sights of the lake and so on so on... played mexican dominoes... just stayed up till 4 again :)

saturday: woke up at 11 ate breakfast went out on the lake jumped off a 30 foot cliff.. and basically everything we did friday... also went n played basketball outside with all the gnats and so on hmm swam some more.. went on a off road adventure and found a trail leading to a cave.. was steep as hell and we went more than halfway and decided against going all the way.. got a workout in, though.. ahhh hmm nini left... hmm oh yes richard was as pink as a pig... swam in the pool and went back to the lake for a few last good swings... almost went skinny dipping but a certain incident made me decide against that... this night was less tiring.. stayed up till 2:30

sunday: woke up at 8:30 ate brekky said bye to jeff and slept the entire way back to columbus... arrived, said bye to john, got dressed, dropped nellie off at the bus station, went to a fantastic usa vs paraguay soccer game... (box seats, baby) the absolutestest best part of the game was training the binoculars on like 5 paraguayans and seeing their expressions.. the winces as they tried to be a body shield thingy... just wow :)... hmm went to jim's grandies place played some pool saw the sights, and so on... chatted allllll night.. played ping pong.. learned some things :) i swear i wanted to go to bed before midnight but, of course, thats impossible.. fell asleep at like 3 after a great talk

monday: woke up at 11ish showered got dressed went out to w.g.grinders for a lunch.. also went to jim's mom's office and met the ladies there came back and finallllly got everything in my car... it sucked so bad (especially the 3 hr drive that i made in 2 and a half hrs (by the way, jim, you owe me 20 bucks because i got home at 3))..

gahh that was long :)

if you've got fair skin, use sunBLOCK (SPF 30-50) (and apply every hour).
if you've got moderately fairishitytanny skin, use sunscreen (SPF 15) (and apply every two hours).
if you've got olive skin, use a tanning oil with sunscreen inside (SPF 4)(and apply every hour)(only to let the oil do its work).
